Johanna is the mother of Hilda and a resident of Trolburg. She is voiced by Daisy Haggard.
Biography
Johanna was born and raised in Trolburg. Eventually, She joined the Sparrow Scouts. By the end of the year, She had the most patches.
Eventually, She moved into the wilderness. At some point, She had a daughter, Hilda. Her husband (Hilda's father) is not mentioned.[1]
Hilda constantly befriends Trolls, Elves, and Giants. Johanna doesn't get into the adventures, but supports them and lets Her wander around the wilderness freely.
Hilda befriends a Giant, Jorgen. He states He is looking for A Old Friend, but She won't come. Hilda tells Him She likely will not come, and Jorgen leaves.
However, on a different journey, Hilda reunites the giants accidentally and they unknowingly step on the house, forcing Johanna and Hilda to move to Trolburg.
In Trolburg, Hilda goes on adventures with Frida and David. Johanna still supports these adventures, but is anxious about the big city.
Appearance
In the series, She wears a Red Top with Brown pants. She wears short, white shoes.
In the original book, Hilda and the Troll, She is seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and has shorter hair with bangs. She is somewhat shorter.
In Hilda and the Midnight Giant, She wears a gray shirt with very small white lines, creating squares. She has a paler face, a longer nose, and a different hairstyle.
In Hilda and the Bird Parade, She is slightly slimmer and has a similar hairstyle to the series, albeit with a few stray hairs covering Her face. She most exactly resembles Her T.V appearance in Hilda and the Black Hound.
Her appearance has changed the most compared to other characters.
